Can I watch from anywhere in the world?

Yes. Our Winter Festival: Solstice, is available to stream from anywhere in the world from December 15th 2020 – January 31st 2021.

How do I buy a ticket?

Create an Account right here on our online streaming festival site. Once signed in, you can buy your ticket for films and all of your tickets are viewable in your Library.

Where is my Library?

‘Sign in’ in the top right corner of our site. Once signed in, click on your name in the top right corner and a drop down menu will appear. Here is where you find ‘My Library’.

When will I be able to watch the films I buy?

Once in your Library, films will count down to their available time. Films are available to watch from 12pm December 15th 2020. Please note that there is a 72 hour window in which the film will be available to you, once you press play.

What are the system requirements?

You can watch on PCs running Windows 10, and Macs running MacOS 10.12 or later. You will need a broadband or fibre internet connection - dial up will not work. You’ll find a complete list of requirements below.

What are the requirements for Windows computers?

Windows 10. Content can be played using Microsoft Edge.

We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

To check that your browser meets the minimum requirements:
• In your Edge browser input edge://gpu
• Make sure the follow lines are as stated:
“Compositing” is “Hardware Accelerated”.
“Direct composition” is “true”.
“PlayReady Hardware DRM support” is “true”.

What are the requirements for Mac computers?

MacOS 10.12 or later. Content can be played using Safari. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

What browser should I use?

Currently, you can use Microsoft Edge, Safari or our App to play content from this site.

Temporarily unavailable on Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera - expected back in 2021.

Can I watch content on my iPhone/iPad?

Yes, you can watch content using Safari and this requires iOS 11.2 or later. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

I can’t stream any of the content, what’s going on?

Check your minimum system requirements above. We recommend that you update to the latest version of your browser.
We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. For High Definition (HD) streaming we recommend VDSL, cable or fibre connections as we cannot guarantee consistent HD streaming on ADSL.

What happens if I forget my password?

Simply click Forgot your password on the Sign In page, enter the email address you used when you created an account and a link to reset your password will be sent to you.

Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?

If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. Try lowering the playback bitrate.

Is there an app?

Yes you can download our app for free from the Play Store or the Apple App store. Once purchases have been made on our website, the films are added to your library in the App. (Purchases cannot be made from the app)

Can I Chromecast from my iPhone or iPad?

Yes you can Chromecast from our app which is free to download from the apple app store.

Can I use Apple Airplay?

Yes, the platform is compatible with Apple Airplay, here’s a link with instructions on how to do it that from multiple devices.

Can I connect to my TV?

You can play content to your TV using one of the methods above, or you can connect with HDMI.
